Dr. Lynn Van Rassel

Hailing from the quaint Northern Ontario town of Kapuskasing, Dr. Van Rassel embarked on her educational journey at the University of Western Ontario in London. There, she achieved a Bachelor of Science degree in 1990, followed by a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1994. Her early career led her to Moose Factory, where she practiced dentistry in a hospital in this remote location. She later expanded her experience by working as an associate dentist and educator for hygienists and assistants at Niagara College in Welland, ON. In 1999, Dr. Van Rassel took a significant step by establishing her own dental practice in Orillia.

Recently, Dr. Van Rassel sold the practice but remains active in the practice, working part-time. With over 28 years in the field, she is a seasoned dentist and a member of both the Ontario Dental Association and the Canadian Dental Association. She values her skilled team, who share her commitment to delivering dental care with professionalism and integrity.

Beyond her dental practice, Dr. Van Rassel is a passionate animal enthusiast and a dedicated supporter of the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society. She and her team have been longstanding evening sponsors at the organization’s annual charity dinner and auction. Additionally, Dr. Van Rassel’s personal interests include traveling, her admiration for all things Disney, and the joy she finds in being the proud mother to two wonderful step-daughters.
